Problems. @ 11:01 AM

This is gonna be a post that no one cares about. It's about shakespeare's play so yeah. Warning first LOL.

Went to catch Macbeth a few nights back. It was so fucking good. Adrian Pang is a great theatrical actor and director. The lightings he organised were so atmospheric, especially for the witches.

Plus we saw fireflies! First time EVER. I didn't know they existed. I thought they were fake ._. Love my lit group, so fyeah :) Though I burnt myself and all trying to make food to bring there, but yesterday was pretty fantastic :D

There was this part in the play, where it felt so surreal for me. Like an enlightenment?
Macduff's wife and children had been killed by Macbeth even though Macduff has done nothing wrong. When one of his companions broke the news to him and told him to take it like a man when he was crying, Macduff replied,

"But I must also feel it like a man.", to which he continues grieving.

That's my favourite part. Males think so much about ego and all, forgetting to stop and remember that after all, they are still Man. All humans still have feelings and it's correct to show them. There's like this irony there. In an attempt to be a Man, they do things that are the opposite of what man should do. I really loved that part, like I almost cried LUL. I don't think I was able to put the message clearly across but yeah, it's just my favourite part okay!

Then questions asked afterwards made me realise more significance. Only Macbeth and the murderers used guns in the play. The others used swords. The honourable men used swords. I never noticed these little details. It was a really fucking good play.

I have to like dig out my brother's O'level Macbeth book now la. He read until chap 2 only. Wtf, HE TOOK IT FOR OLEVELS SIA. Imma read it like a nerd 8D

Home with Sijing and Carnie after that. Reached home at 12am+ and slept at 3.

Today, is gonna be a boring day for me. All ya'll have fun ya :D
