Human Nature. @ 10:54 PM

The other day, I was having a literature class when my teacher made a passing remark that we often bargain with God.

"Dear God, if you let me pass this test, I promise. I promise I'll go to church every single week."

"Dear God, if you let all the problems in my life go away, I promise I'll be good."

"Dear God, if you let me get out of this without much trouble, I promise I'll memorise every verse of the bible."

The list goes on and on and on.

I find it so true.

I have bargained with God, countless of times too.

But the things is, most of the time, even if, so-called, God lets the thing you wish for happen, do you fulfill your promise back to God?

I didn't think so.

Not just that, but is bargaining with God even part of the religion package?

Food for thought, guys.
